Port Huron to march against child abuse

The MACA will host the Port Huron’s part in the “Million March Against Child Abuse” on April 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The march’s purpose is to increase awareness of child abuse and call for criminals who have committed violence against children to receive less lenient sentences.

Participants will meet in the Port Huron Pine Grove Park at 1204 Pine Grove Avenue, from where they will march past the courthouse and police station. When the marchers return to the park, there will be live music.

Other supporters will also march in cities across the nation.

Anyone who wants to participate can register through the Port Huron MACA Facebook page, or find more information on the main page https://www.facebook.com/MillionMarchAgainstChildAbusePortHuronMi/info.
