Wit and Woolf coming to SC4

Saint Clair County Community College’s theatre discipline held auditions for “Wit” by Margaret Edson and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” by Edward Albee on January 21 and 22 at the Fine Arts Building.

Tom Kephart, adjunct instructor of visual and performing said he held simultaneous auditions for both winter semester productions so those cast will have plenty of rehearsal time.

According to Kephart, “Wit” is one of his favorite shows. He said he was part of the production when “Wit” was performed in Sarnia in 2005.

Wit is the story of an English Professor that is diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” centers around the dysfunctional relationship between a middle aged couple.

Performance dates for “Wit” are March 21-24, 2013, and Woolf performance dates are May 16-19, 2013.
