The 44th annual Beatrice Thornton Student Art Exhibition returns to the Fine Arts Galleries on SC4’s campus this February and March. Art featured will include work done by students which is chosen by their art teachers from 24 area schools.
The first part of the exhibition is Feb. 2 -22, with a reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to kick off the elementary student’s show which will feature over 700 works of art. The second half of the exhibition features artwork of middle school and high school students, which will be held March 1-22, with a reception held the first day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission to this event is free, and regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, while special exhibit hours are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
