Chelsea Handler does it again with her new book, “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang.” This is her third book. Her other two books, “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea” and “My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands” were on the New York Times’ best-seller list. Her newest book is no different; it has been on the list going on 27 weeks now.

Her show, “Chelsea Lately” on E! is at 11 p.m. She is also a guest writer in Cosmopolitan magazine. She has to be one of the funniest writers out there. Only Handler could write about the time she faked her friend’s dog’s death and planned his funeral as a joke on her boyfriend.

Handler writes about different events from different times in her life.  She makes you feel as if you were right there as everything happened. The book is only made funnier with some pictures she has included.

The book is also relatable. Everyone at one time or another has been embarrassed by their parents and like Handler, on more than one occasion. Seeing her go through this will make you think of all times that you have been embarrassed by your parents. The book will bring back memories of all the shenanigans that you have pulled.

I loved this book, it is just as funny as her other books. The book has a very honest quality to it. For some people it is very hard to write about embarrassing things, but Handler is different. You don’t think “Oh great, another star just trying to make more money.” She writes about being herself and that is what makes the book honest. She is not afraid to show anything.

If you are looking for a fast and fun read this book is for you. It is a good book to get lost in. But beware! You will laugh out loud while reading this book causing other people to look at you and wonder what you are reading.
